Meet the team...
Colin Fraser . Chief Scientist
Influenced by 80s synth pop and 90s dance music, Colin has been building electronic devices for making music since his teens. Finding no hardware sequencer on the market that quite satisfied his needs, he designed the P3 sequencer in the late nineties and early 2000s.
After quickly selling out the first runs of P3 kits to fellow electronic musicians via the Analogue Heaven and Synth-DIY mailing lists, Sequentix Music Systems Ltd was founded in Scotland in 2005 to build P3 as a commercial product.
After the P3 Sequencer was discontinued in 2006 due to unavailability of key parts, Colin built on his knowledge and spent 3 years designing a bigger, better sequencer.
Cirklon production began in 2011.
In 2017 Sequentix re-located to Berlin, Germany. With over a thousand units of the original Cirklon built, Colin began development of the improved Cirklon 2 model, launched in 2020.
Barbara Fraser . Sales Director
Barbara grew up near Glasgow, a part of the world known for it's friendliness and she brings this approach to Sequentix, aiming to provide a great customer experience.
After studying fashion design, she ran a commercial woodworking business for 12 years before joining Sequentix in 2011.
Barbara has a keen eye for quality, detail and planning. She deals with customers and suppliers, and handles the financial side of the business.
While also enjoying city life in Berlin, she especially likes getting out into the beautiful nature around Berlin and Brandenburg on foot or by kayak.
