The P3 Sequencer was created by Colin during the 1990s, with only around 250 units in existence.

The P3 began life as a kit built by users, initially gaining interest via the Analogue Heaven and Synth-DIY mailing lists.

This led onto Colin building some preproduction P3s, then 137 production units. Production ceased in 2006 when a change in legislation meant parts were no longer available.
